Select Practice Management can assist established practices with consulting services including market analysis, strategic planning, business plan development, financial objectives and ancillary revenue review. Too often, the goal of the independent physician to provide the best care possible overshadows basic business fundamentals, which compromises the viability and profitability of the practice. While corporate medicine often places too much emphasis on the business aspects of medicine, independent physicians must possess an understanding of basic business principles and strategies to compete.

Intermediary Services

Select Practice Management also functions as a management service organization (MSO) to deliver common services to independent offices. While corporate medicine is able to implement economies of scale to control costs--even to the extent of self-insuring for medical malpractice--independent physicians often are unable to achieve economies of scale without working with an MSO.
